  1. All of Pelzer's books are downers, but especially that first. Hard to contemplate how a mother and a family could be so twisted.

  2. I know. And I read it when I was in junior high too - because it was just so intriguing. I know people whose families are not any where near as twisted, but still are really really dysfunctional and bizarre. And it's sad to realize that this type of situation still continues to crop up and happen to some children.

  3. I cried my eyes out in Thirteen Reasons Why. Good, cry-worthy list.

  9. Omg, the chapter in the forest at the end of Deathly Hallows? I BAWL every time I read it. I'm praying they do it justice in the movie.

  12. i've only read about half of these books, but i gotta say the only one that actually made me said was "new moon" and i never cried. i must be a tough cookie.i don't think i could actually think of a list of books that made me cry.though i have cried during some book, i just can't remember what it was. this is kinda irrelevant...

    i like your blog though.
